[Original article] Signature sur le Saint-Laurent wishes to notify pedestrians and cyclists of a complete closure of the multi-use path on the Samuel-De Champlain bridge from Thursday February 6 (4am) to Saturday February 8, 2020 (end of the day).

Indeed, a weather alert is in effect in the Montreal region with Snow accumulation and freezing rain. The multiuse path will therefore be closed for safety reasons accordingly to the operating criteria at 4am on Thursday February 6. This closure before morning rush hour will prevent cyclists and pedestrians from being blocked on one side of the bridge when returning at the end of the day. The multiuse path will reopen on Saturday February 8, 2020 at the end of the day after our operation and maintenance teams have ensured its safe use by cyclists and pedestrians.
