Signature on the Saint-Laurent wishes to advise St. Lawrence River users that preliminary works for the construction of a second jetty will begin on August 10, 2015. The jetty, which will serve as a work area for the construction of the cable-stayed portion of the bridge, will be built on the river side of the St. Lawrence Seaway dyke and extend 250 metres into the river. It’s expected to remain in place until 2019.
