Signature on the Saint Lawrence to hire nearly 1,000 construction workers in Quebec

Signature on the Saint Lawrence will be hiring nearly 1,000 construction workers from Quebec to work on the new Champlain Bridge Corridor project. This move will ensure compliance with laws and the collective agreement in effect for the civil engineering and roadwork sector.

To date, some 125 construction workers from Quebec have been hired to work on what is one of the largest infrastructure projects in North America. Of these 125 workers, 96% are from the Montreal area. During peak construction, more than 50 crane operators will be employed to operate 30 cranes. Four have already been hired, one of whom is from the Quebec City area.

Signature on the Saint Lawrence is proud to contribute to local job creation and make use of the construction trades active in the province.
