Evening works for the new L’Île-des-Sœurs bridge

SSL would like to inform you that for the construction of the new L’Île-des-Soeurs bridge, evening and night work (from 7:00 pm to 12:30 pm) will begin this week from barges on the channel, until August or September. On occasion, it is also possible that works will occur during the weekend.  Our noise experts have assessed that these activities will respect the criteria set for these time periods and appropriate monitoring will be done to ensure that the criteria are met. To minimize the impacts associated with this work, SSL will use low-impact back-up alarms, which are less likely to be heard near the site.
