Since the end of March, the scale model of the new Champlain Bridge has been on display at Brossard’s Georgette-Lepage library. South Shore residents and library cardholders can gaze upon the linden wood, acrylic and paint creation built by Montreal’s Atelier Dédale. It represents a 1-km stretch of the overall bridge, which is approximately 3.4 km in total. Brossard residents will have a chance to see the model until May 22, 2017. Its next stop this summer will be in Montreal, as part of the celebrations for Canada’s 150^th and Montreal’s 375^th anniversaries.

The New Champlain Bridge Corridor Project is being carried in partnership by the Government of Canada and Signature on the Saint Lawrence.
