The scale model of the new Champlain Bridge on display at Brossard’s Georgette-Lepage library

Since the end of March, the scale model of the new Champlain Bridge has been on display at Brossard’s Georgette-Lepage library. South Shore residents and library cardholders can gaze upon the linden wood, acrylic and paint creation built by Montreal’s Atelier Dédale. It represents a 1-km stretch of the overall bridge, which is approximately 3.4 km in total. Brossard residents will have a chance to see the model until May 22, 2017. Its next stop this summer will be in Montreal, as part of the celebrations for Canada’s 150th and Montreal’s 375th anniversaries.

The New Champlain Bridge Corridor Project is being carried in partnership by the Government of Canada and Signature on the Saint Lawrence.
