Complete closure of Hwy-10 West between Hwy-30 and the Champlain Bridge during the weekend of June 8, 2018

As part of the construction of the New Champlain Bridge Corridor Project, Signature on the Saint Lawrence wishes to inform road users of a major disruption on Hwy-10 West in Brossard during the weekend of June 8, 2018. Its purpose is to set up a detour for Hwy-10 in order to build the on-ramps for the new Champlain Bridge.

Here are the details of the traffic disruptions:

  • Closure of Hwy-10 westbound between Exit 11 – Hwy-30 / Vaudreuil-Dorion / Sorel-Tracy and the entrance from Hwy-132 from 10 p.m. on Friday to 5 a.m. on Monday;

Note that the local network up to Boulevard Taschereau will remain available through the service roads.

Users are asked to instead use the Honoré-Mercier and Jacques-Cartier bridges as well as the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel to get to Montreal over the weekend.

To access the Grand Prix du Canada parking lot, a route via the Champlain Bridge will be set up via Hwy-30 West, Boulevard Matte and Hwy-132 East.

  • Closure of access to the Champlain Bridge via Hwy-132 from 8 p.m. on Sunday until 5 a.m. on Monday.

There will also be a major disruption on Hwy-15 South in Montreal over this weekend.
