Opening of the temporary configuration without permanent noise barrier

he complete opening of the A15 South to temporarily accommodate traffic from the north and south directions will be done without the presence of permanent noise barriers, which will be installed during the fall between LaSalle and Wellington. In the meantime, temporary noise barriers will remain to mitigate noise from our work as well as the temporary configuration. Considered as a site area, SSL is required to meet the noise criteria included in the partnership agreement with the Government of Canada. SSL will regularly monitor the noise generated by these construction activities. The Citizen’s forum section of our website, under Works and Impacts, presents the results of the sound measurements.
