Complete closure of Hwy-15 North between Exit 58 and the Gaétan-Laberge entrance during the weekend of August 17, 2018

As part of the construction of the New Champlain Bridge Corridor Project, Signature on the Saint Lawrence wishes to inform road users of a major disruption on Hwy-15 North in Montreal during the weekend of August 17, 2018. The closure will enable a new temporary configuration of Hwy-15 North to be set up on Île-des-Soeurs so that the new highway to the Champlain Bridge can be built.

Here are the details of the traffic disruptions from 11:59 p.m. on Friday until 5 a.m. on Monday:

  • Closure of Hwy‑15 North between Exit 58 – Hwy‑10 West – Downtown / Île des Sœurs and the entrance from Gaétan-Laberge Boulevard.
  • Closure of the Hwy-15 North on-ramp from Île-des-Soeurs.
  • One lane available on the Hwy‑15 North between Gaétan-Laberge bvd and LaSalle bvd

Road users are asked to take Exit 58 to reach Hwy-10 West until Exit 2, then take Hwy-10 East.  Hwy-15 North can then be accessed via Boulevard Gaétan-Laberge at Exit 4. There will be detour signs all along the route and SPVM police officers will be on hand.

Road users are asked to check our website and follow us on Twitter @nouv_champlain for up-to-date information on traffic disruptions. You can learn about the main disruptions on the Waze community-based traffic and navigation app as well.

We also strongly urge drivers to check the MTQ website www.quebec511.info before setting out or to follow the MTQ on Twitter @Qc511_Mtl for information on all disruptions in the Greater Montreal road network.
