Learn more about the new champlain bridge’s superstructure

Our web series “Inside the Giant” continues and this time, we are discussing the installation of steel box girders and concrete deck slabs. If the pillars and pier-caps are the legs of the bridge, the box girders and deck slabs would be the “upper body”. It is on these parts that the motorists will roll once the asphalt is poured.
