Roadwork planned for May 28 to June 3, 2019

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: Roadwork announcements are usually posted on the website, in the Traffic/Traffic and Detours section, provides a summary of roadwork from Tuesday to the following Monday. An automatic e-mail alert is sent to subscribers the day after announcements are published.

Furthermore, during certain major disruptions, specific announcements are also posted and an alert is also sent.

Signature on the Saint Lawrence wishes to inform road users that, as part of the construction work for the new Champlain Bridge, a series of traffic disruptions is planned over the coming days.

 

Tuesday, May 28 / Wednesday, May 29

Atwater area

Long-term closure

  • Closure of Atwater Ave. to downtown (Centre-Ville) for two months since Sunday, March 17 (10 p.m.). Road users coming from Verdun or Exit 61 off Hwy-15 South are asked to follow the detour via LaSalle Blvd.
  • Complete closure of Exit 61 (Atwater) off Hwy‑15 North from Tuesday, September 4, 2018 (10 p.m.) to Thursday, May 30, 2019 (5 a.m.).

Gaétan-Laberge area

Nighttime closure (10 p.m. to 5 a.m.)

  • Complete closure of Gaétan-Laberge Boulevard, in both directions, between Gilberte-Dubé Street and the Hwy-15 North on-ramp
  • Complete closure of the Hwy-15 South on-ramp from Gaétan-Laberge Boulevard

Île‑des‑Sœurs area

Long-term closure

  • Closure of the Hwy-10 West on-ramp from the Claude-Robutel roundabout for one month starting May 22 (10 p.m.).
  • Closure of René-Lévesque Blvd. to Pointe-Sud for about a month starting April 30 (10 p.m.).
  • Complete closure of Exit 58 – A10 Ouest / Centre-Ville / Île-des-Soeurs off Hwy-15 North from March 16 (6 a.m.) until the opening of the new Champlain Bridge. Road users are asked to follow the detours from Exit 60 – Boul. Gaétan-Laberge off Hwy-15 North.

 

Thursday, May 30

Atwater area

  • Opening of Exit 61 – Atwater off Hwy-15 North starting Thursday, May 30 (5 a.m.). Access to Montréal – Centre-Ville / Le Sud-Ouest is now open from Hwy-15 South.

Long-term closure

    A single contraflow lane will be available in each direction for local traffic between De Rome Blvd. and Place Turenne, as well as between Simard Blvd. and the gas station.
  • Closure of Exit 75 – Pont Champlain / Montréal / Sherbrooke / Boul. de Rome off Route 132 West
  • Closure of the Hwy-10 East on-ramp from Marie-Victorin Blvd. West
  • Closure of the Champlain bridge on-ramp from Marie-Victorin Blvd. West
  • Complete closure of the access to Marie-Victorin Blvd. West from Exit 6 – La Prairie / Varenne / New-York off Hwy-10 West

 

Monday, June 3
