Complete closure of L’Île-des-Soeurs Blvd, from Exit 57-N of Hwy-15 South and Exit 5 of Hwy-10 East as of Monday, May 18, 2020*

Dans le cadre de la construction du projet de corridor du pont Samuel-De Champlain, Signature sur le Saint-Laurent Construction souhaite aviser les usagers de la route d’une entrave majeure dans le secteur de L’Île-des-Soeurs.

As part of the construction of the New Champlain Bridge Corridor Project, Signature on the Saint Lawrence wishes to inform road users of a major disruption in the Île-des-Sœurs sector.

Work to complete the overpass over L’Île-des-Soeurs Blvd will cause disruptions starting Monday, May 18, 2020, for a duration of 3 weeks*:

  • Complete closure of L’Île-des-Soeurs Blvd. Access Hwy-15 South – Samuel-De Champlain Bridge remains open:
    Road users wishing to reach Pointe-Nord, Hwy-10 West (Bonaventure Expressway for downtown) or Hwy-15 North are asked to follow the detour in place via René-Lévesque Blvd.

  • Complete closure of Exit 57-N – Pointe-Nord on Hwy-15 South:
    Road users are encouraged to follow the optional route via Exit 57-S – L’Île-des-Soeurs Blvd and then take René-Lévesque Boulevard toward Pointe-Nord.
    There is also a detour off Exit 6 of Hwy-10 East/Hwy-15 South at the exit of the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge to get back on the bridge and go to Exit 58 – L’Île-des-Soeurs on Hwy-15 North.

  • Closure of Exit 5 – Île-des-Soeurs on Hwy-10 East:
    Road users wishing to get to Île-des-Soeurs from downtown are asked to use the detour via Gaétan-Laberge Blvd, then turn left to take the Hwy-15 South on-ramp and go to Exit 57-S – L’Île-des-Soeurs Blvd.

*Dates subject to change. Closures may be cancelled or modified in case of adverse weather conditions or operational constraints.
