Full closure of the Samuel‑De Champlain Bridge southbound from June 26 to 29

Roadwork will result in the closure of the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge northbound (toward Montréal), from Friday, June 19 at 11:59 p.m. to Monday, June 22 at 5:00 a.m.
This closure is required to maintain a safe roadway and an optimal level of service for all users.

Closures

During this period, the following closures will be in effect:
  • Full closure of the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge northbound (toward Montréal);
  • Closure of Highway 15 north starting at Exit 6;
  • Closure of access ramps from Route 132 to Highway 15 north.
No access to the bridge will be possible northbound for the entire duration of the work.

Detours and recommended routes

A primary detour will be set up via:
  • Route 132 East;
  • Route 134;
  • Jacques-Cartier Bridge;
  • Full closure of Highway 15 north from Exit 6 of Highway 10 west to the entrance ramp from Jacques-Le Ber Street on Nuns’ Island toward Highway 15 north / Highway 20 west;
  • Closure of the entrance ramp from Route 132 East toward Highway 10 west / Highway 15 north / Highway 20 west;
  • Closure of the entrance ramp from Route 132 West toward Highway 10 west / Highway 15 north / Highway 20 west;
  • Detour via Route 132 East to Route 134 – Jacques-Cartier Bridge.

Travel planning

Users are encouraged to plan their trips and use alternative routes whenever possible.
To reduce traffic impacts, it is recommended to avoid the area during peak periods and to prioritize public transit or remote work when possible.
