Infrastructure Canada, a federal department, is the authority responsible for the New Champlain Bridge Corridor Project and the public partner in the public-private partnership. Infrastructure Canada works in collaboration with other federal partners, including Publics Services and Procurement, PPP Canada and Justice Canada.

Public Services and Procurement is the project’s contracting body. The department is primarily responsible for the project’s procurement aspects as well as providing expertise on property acquisition.

PPP Canada acts as an advisor on issues pertaining to the public-private partnership.

Justice Canada is the Government of Canada’s legal advisor in connection with the project. The department also monitors legal issues and supports negotiations and the establishment of agreements between the Government of Canada and its partners.
