About the Verdun/Le Sud-Ouest Good Neighbourly Relations Committee

Initiated in 2014 by the Verdun and Le Sud-Ouest boroughs, in collaboration with the City of Montreal and Infrastructure Canada, the Comité de suivi pour l’intégration du nouveau pont et de ses accès (CINPA) was set up to inform citizens regarding different aspects of the new Champlain Bridge Corridor Project and to comment on its integration into the urban setting. Building on the communication efforts of its partners, Signature on the Saint Lawrence (SSL)—the consortium responsible for the construction of the new Champlain Bridge—created the Good Neighbourly Relations Committee to maintain this dialogue with residents living close to the site, following a call for applications in September 2015. The Committee is made up of seventeen people: twelve citizens (seven from Verdun and five from Le Sud-Ouest borough), four partners (representing Infrastructure Canada, the City of Montreal, Verdun and Le Sud-Ouest boroughs) and one representing SSL.

We look forward to seeing you there.
