Île-des-soeurs, Verdun / Sud-Ouest Public information session

Signature on the Saint-Laurent will be meeting with residents of the Verdun and Le Sud-Ouest boroughs to inform them of the major work under way and planned for the coming year. Topics will include

• the type of work being done;
• impacts on nearby residents and mitigation measures;
• methods of communication and cooperation with the community.

ABOUT THE NEW CHAMPLAIN BRIDGE

The new Champlain Bridge corridor project is one of the largest infrastructure projects in North America and includes a new bridge for Nuns’ Island as well as the reconstruction and widening of the federally managed section of Highway 15. The project is being carried out as a public-private partnership (P3) between the Government of Canada and the Signature on the Saint-Laurent consortium. Work is expected to last 3 and a half years.
