Occasional slowdowns planned for fall 2016 on the Seaway dike bicycle path
Published on 9 September 2016
This fall, cyclists can expect occasional slowdowns close to the new Champlain Bridge project when using the Seaway dike bicycle path.
As a preventive measure, signalers will be slowing down users of this path for short periods (2 to 5 minutes). Lifting operations for the construction of the main pylon of the new Champlain Bridge could attract cyclists’ attention and result in reduced vigilance; hence the importance of obeying the directive to slow down. No closure is scheduled for the end of the 2016 season.
