Learn more about the east approach linking the new Champlain Bridge to the South Shore

After our first video on the main pylon a few weeks ago, our documentary Web series titled “Inside the giant” will now take a look at the East Approach of the new Champlain Bridge. Blair Squire, East Approach Operations Manager, will explain the particularities and features of the work platform for the start of the new bridge on the South Shore.
Among other things, we learn that this portion will require 18,500 metric tons of steel—that’s the equivalent of 33 commercial airliners.
