During the technical briefing to the media in October 2017 and the one in February 2018, and in the course of the media coverage of December 4^th 2017, SSL has been consistent in indicating that the objective remains to deliver the bridge in December 2018. The schedule for the new Champlain Bridge was confronted with a multitude of significant pressures, and this is why we have put in place measures to address the delays caused by these challenges. Over the last few months, confidential negotiations are ongoing with our public partner to confirm the costs associated with these additional measures.
