Original version of the text : As part of the new Champlain Bridge Corridor project, Signature on the St. Lawrence is working on the reconfiguration of the A15 between Atwater and the Champlain Bridge, including the widening of 4 to 6 lanes, re-designing the new axe of the future Champlain Bridge.

Finishing work following the concreting operations of the overpass on Gaétan-Laberge Boulevard is underway. Technical challenges occurred during the night, including form work problem, which prevented us from reopening the lanes at the scheduled times, 5 : 30 am.

The current situation is that 3 out of 4 accesses are open with exit 60 of the A15 and the Gaétan-Laberge Bld towards Verdun at 5:30 am and then the Montreal Centre-Ville direction from 10:30. The re-opening of the South 15 ramp will be open soon, as soon as conditions are in place to do so safely for motorists.

Police is currently on site to give a hand to the traffic management.

SSL is sorry for the inconvenience to the road users. We will keep you informed for the reopening of the ramp to the A15 South.

We advise Verdun road users who wish to travel to L’Île-des-Soeurs and the South Shore via the Champlain Bridge to take the Gaétan-Laberge Bld towards Montreal and exit at exit 2 of the ‘A10 West and return on the A10 East direction Champlain Bridge.
