[Uptade – Monday January 20, 2020 7:43am] The multiuse path on the Samuel-De Champlain bridge is now reopen. Please remain vigilants to the conditions on the track.

[Uptade – Saturday January 18, 2020 5pm] The multiuse path will be closed at 6pm. It will reopen tentatively Sunday January 19, 2020 (in the evening / during the night) or not later than Monday January 20 (before 3pm)

[Original article] Signature sur le Saint-Laurent wishes to notify pedestrians and cyclists of a complete closure of the multiuse path on the Samuel-De Champlain bridge from Saturday January 18 (in the afternoon) to Monday January 20, 2020 (during the day).

Indeed, a weather alert is in effect in the Montreal region with forecasts of Snow (10 to 15 centimetres) and blowing snow (moderate to strong easterlies locally). The multiuse path will therefore be closed for safety reasons during the afternoon on Saturday January 18 according to what will be observed in the field. It will reopen on Monday January 20 during the day after our operation and maintenance teams have ensured its safe use by cyclists and pedestrians.
