[Reopened] Closure of the multi-use path on the Samuel De Champlain for an indefinite period of time

[Update – December 18, 2020 13:40] The multi-use path on the Samuel-De Champlain bridge is now reopen
[Original post] Signature sur le Saint-Laurent wishes to notify pedestrians and cyclists of a complete closure of the multi-use path on the Samuel-De Champlain bridge for an indefinite period of time.
In fact, a truck has hung up the the multi-use path bridge above Route 132 in Brossard, forcing the complete closure for an indeterminate period of time for pedestrians and cyclists. Inspections are currently underway to ensure the compliance and safety of the structure before a possible reopening.
