Full closure of the Samuel De Champlain Bridge northbound from August 28 to 31

Roadway rehabilitation work will require the full closure of the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge northbound (toward Montréal), from Friday, August 28 at 11 p.m. to Monday, August 31 at 5 a.m.
This closure is necessary to maintain a safe roadway and an optimal level of service for everyone using the transportation network.

Closures

During this period, the following closures will be in effect:
  • Full closure of the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge northbound (toward Montréal);
  • Closure of Highway 15 North starting at Exit 6;
  • Closure of access ramps from Route 132 to Highway 15 North.
No access to the bridge will be possible northbound for the entire duration of the work.

Detours and recommended routes

A primary detour will be set up via:
  • Route 132 East;
  • Route 134;
  • Jacques-Cartier Bridge.

To reduce traffic impacts, it is recommended to avoid the area during peak periods and to prioritize public transit or remote work whenever possible.
